Deep in the woods, where no-one dares tread, lives a grim, grisly Groll, who fills children with dread!

And he fills them with dread because he likes to eat them – in pies, on toast and in stews!

But when there are no children left to eat, the Groll has to come up with a plan.

Will his plan succeed or will he get taught a lesson by the pupils and pets of The Grubby Bugs Forest School?

Have you heard about the Groll who lives deep in the woods? 

Well, he’s still there and he’s still hungry - for children!  But children are proving a little bit tricky to catch, so the Groll has come up with a plot – a Toffee Plot!

Sweet and simple, the Groll thinks his Toffee Plot can’t possibly go wrong!  Or can it?!

It’s almost Christmas at the Grubby Bugs Forest School, but whilst the pupils are eagerly awaiting a special visit from Father Christmas, the Groll has had some bad news – his entire family are coming for Christmas lunch! 

How on earth is the Groll going to catch enough children to feed a bunch of hungry (child-eating) Grolls?!

As ever, the Groll comes up with a plan.  Will this plan work or will the Groll be taught a lesson by none other than Father Christmas himself?
